ALFIE
Further to my recent phone call about Alfie, attached are two recent photo's you might like to see, one with Alfie and Barney looking out the window together, and one of Alfie. Alfie is doing fine, I will be taking Alfie to agility classes at the end of September, when they start, which he should enjoy very much, and also help his ongoing training. That said, Alfie is very intelligent and despite no previous house training or being taken out for walks, he has learnt exceptionally quickly. He is also a very gentle soul, and is a pleasure to have around, and has bonded well with our old boy Barney.
We will keep you posted how the agility training goes, and also with general updates, pictures etc, and look forward to visiting you all within the next 6-12 months with Alfie and Barney.
Wishing you all the very best for now,
With Best Regards, Ken & Carole Usher

TRACKER
Hi Mary,
Tracker has been with us nearly a month now and has settled down really well. As she hasn't lived in a house before she's fascinated with household things like the washing machine, the cleaner and looks in amazement at me ironing. She's enjoying her walks her food and in the evening loves nothing more than relaxing on the settee . Tracker is 10 years old now but we hope we'll have her for a good number of years.
Best Wishes

MILLIE
Hi there,
We rehomed Millie 2 weeks ago into our family with our 1yr Rottie, Suki. She has settled in really well with us and has become a proper member of the family. We regularly go for walks down to Penllagare woods, which they both enjoy, we haven't left Millie run off lead yet as we are not too confident about her recall yet, but she has the full length of the extendable lead so she can roam and sniff. As you can see from the pictures the 2 girls get on great together. Theres nothing she loves more than to curl up on the rug in the evening and have some fussing. We will be visiting soon so you can all see how well she is doing!
Many Thanks for letting us make this lovely girl a part of our family

JASPER
Hi,
Just to let you know how Jasper is getting on.
As you know, Jasper has been with us for almost a month now and has settled in extremely well very quickly. He is very protective of his new home and lets people know he now lives here. He has the run of our large sloping garden and gets plenty of exercise running after the ball we throw him and fetching it back up. He loves playing ball with the string attached and tosses this from side to side, quite often hitting his face with the ball, but he doesn't seem to care, he is just as happy playing by himself as he is playing with us. We have taken him to LLansteffan Beach a few times which he loves and taken him for several walks through nearby fields where we can play ball.
He is a very loving and happy dog wanting lots of fuss and attention and lots of playtime. He has put weight on since being with us, approximately 5 kilos which has pleased us as he was quite thin and gangly when we first took him home. He is very cheeky as he already knows where his food is kept and thinks because he goes and sits where his food is stored, he will get more food. He also comes over to us and sits and puts his paw on our knees as if asking for titbits. We have almost stopped him jumping up, he only does this now when he is excited.
We have had a few mishaps with him, such as chewing the front doormat, digging holes in the lawn and eating the tops off a few of my daffadils but he is only a 6-month old puppy and he is doing puppy things. If this is all he does, then we can't complain.
I attach a few photos of Jasper which I'm sure you will love - he is a real poser.
He's simply a wonderful dog and we love him to bits.
Kind regards,
Pat & John Hills

MAX
Max is making slow progress, he is playing and running around the garden and will sometimes pick up
a toy. Mainly it is him and me chasing each other, he has a funny little run more a bounce. He will come
into the sitting room when he feels like it. He is still very nervous of external noise. He has been letting me
play with his mouth. He has been out for walks but is not too happy. We have started taking him in the car up
the valley where it is quieter to get him used to being out and about. It will take time, but because he is so nervous
it has to be done at his pace. He is a lovely dog and patience is the name of the game.
Kind regards to all.

MO MO
Dear Llys Nini
Mo Mo came home with us just two weeks ago, she has settled in so well - I can't imagine our home without her!
She is a real character and loves her walks and her treats but best of all loves to be curled up on the sofa with all of us around her.
Mo Mo is still unsure of other dogs when we are out walking, but as long as they leave her alone she is quite happy.
She is excellent in the house, no accidents at all. She is very curious around the house and has managed the stairs on occasions, going up was OK but coming down was a different matter and she is quite a size to carry!!
Have attached some photos of her at home and out and about. We wont be able to make the mutt strutt on the 24th March but will keep an eye out for other events to come back and visit.
Best wishes
Jane, Mark, Rebecca and Mo Mo xx

DYLAN
Hi there
I was looking at your blogs this evening, i had Dylan a border collie
from
you over 2 years ago now, and he is such a lovely dog, and a great asset
to the family.
Still a tad nervous with strangers, but he adores being made a fuss of.
He
has been going to training classes since we had him, and he is such a
clever dog, even won some rosettes in minor competitions. I have added a
pic of
him when we came there, and how he is today.
Thanks
Wendy Randall, Michael Coleman
