TOOTS CAME TO LLYS NINNI AS SHE HAD BEEN NEGLECTED BY HER PREVIOUS OWNER. JACKIE BECAME A FOSTER MUM TO TOOTS AND HAS NOW ADOPTED HER AND TOOTS NOW HAS A LOVING FOREVER HOME. TOOTS WON FIRST PRIZE AS LLYS NINNI DOG OF THE YEAR. WELL DONE TOOTS AND JACKIE

RALFY IN HIS NEW HOME

Hi Mary  I just wanted you and all up at Llys Nini to know how I'm getting along in my new home.

  I am so happy I feel that at last I have found my forever home. My humans tell me I liven up the

 house because I always want to play. I love playing fetch with the ball in and out of the house.

 I love all my toys & have a long garden to run in which backs onto open country at the base

 of the Black Mountains, but they have walls and fences around the garden so I cannot explore

 on my own. However my humans take me out for lovely walks up into the mountains and down

 alongside the river. This I love as I find the water exciting and exhilarating. I have already been

 on a holiday in a caravan up in North Wales and we went to the beach everyday to play ball.

 Whilst my humans are in work I go to their oldies for the day and have lovely walks with them also.

 They feed me well and say I'm not a greedy boy.I am still a bit anxious when I see or pass 

dogs but am getting better as I don't bark or growl just pull on the lead to get away

My humans are going to contact a behaviorist to see if anything can be suggested to help

 with this.  I have a few excursions planned by my humans, we are hoping to go to the Llys Nini

 dog Show on the 17th July and are going to the Allens fundraiser in Abercrave this Saturday

 and then a visit to the fundraising night in Neath Workingmens club on the 12th September is

 planned, I'm very excited. This is all a dog could wish for and I can't believe at long last it's my

 life from now on.

PRINCE

Dear Everyone at Llys Nini.

I thought I would give you an update on how Prince is doing since we adopted him on Sunday.

If you take a look at the pics attached you can see how well he is doing after being home for only 5 days!

He is such a loving and sweet boy, and full of bouncy energy too!

His favourite things in the world are food and cwtches – in that order.

In the first pic he is sunbathing with his dad Sam, and in the second one I’m doing some training with him.

We are so lucky to have him, and we believe he was at Llys Nini for so long because he was waiting for us to meet him.

Feel free if you would like to use the images on social media – he’s such a handsome boy.

NIKKI

Hi everyone!! 
It's been 1 1/2 years since Nikki came to live with us !! She's doing
amazing!! 
In the last year she has been on holiday to france and Cornwall as well as
needing her cruciate operating on so lots of hyrdrotherapy !
All is good now and she is just the best thing to happen to us! Thank
you!!!!

Our lovely dog, Will

Hi all at Llys Nini,

Just wanted to let you all know how Will is getting on. 

He’s definitely settled into his routine with us now.  In the mornings, he is happy to snuggle up with his blanket while we have breakfast but then it’s time for his morning walk!  He is relaxed around the house and loves to lounge on the couch!  He was very quiet at first but now, when he hears us get his harness or put our walking / running shoes on, he starts making strange excitable noises, barking and howling with my husband joining in and making  him louder and louder.....(they both seem to think this is fun!!!!).    

He is great company and it’s wonderful to see him run! He loves chasing after a ball and his recall is really good now.  We have also been going to obedience classes, mainly to help our confidence with him and other dogs and last week he passed his Bronze Award.

He is a great running partner, and he even comes to Amman Valley Harrier sessions, making a 10 mile run look easy!  We do walk him on a muzzle due to his hunting instinct but that doesn’t bother him.  He has made friends with numerous dogs including a Cockapoo, a Jack  Russell and a male Weimaraner!  Will seems happy and content with his new life.

He is such a sweet dog and we are glad to have given him a second chance at life.
