Hi everyone!! It's been 1 1/2 years since Nikki came to live with us !! She's doing amazing!! In the last year she has been on holiday to france and Cornwall as well as needing her cruciate operating on so lots of hyrdrotherapy ! All is good now and she is just the best thing to happen to us! Thank you!!!! She sends love to you all ! X
Just wanted to let you all know how Will is getting on.
He’s definitely settled into his routine with us now. In the mornings, he is happy to snuggle up with his blanket while we have breakfast but then it’s time for his morning walk! He is relaxed around the house and loves to lounge on the couch! He was very quiet at first but now, when he hears us get his harness or put our walking / running shoes on, he starts making strange excitable noises, barking and howling with my husband joining in and making him louder and louder.....(they both seem to think this is fun!!!!).
He is great company and it’s wonderful to see him run! He loves chasing after a ball and his recall is really good now. We have also been going to obedience classes, mainly to help our confidence with him and other dogs and last week he passed his Bronze Award.
He is a great running partner, and he even comes to Amman Valley Harrier sessions, making a 10 mile run look easy! We do walk him on a muzzle due to his hunting instinct but that doesn’t bother him. He has made friends with numerous dogs including a Cockapoo, a Jack Russell and a male Weimaraner! Will seems happy and content with his new life.
He is such a sweet dog and we are glad to have given him a second chance at life.
It is nearly a year now since we were rescued by Willow, a 14 month old Westie. She has settled in beautifully and is so loving and full of fun. I am attaching a few photos and a video for you. thank you very much for allowing us to bring her home xxxx
Last July (2014), we adopted Spot and thought we'd let you know how's he getting on. Initially Spot attended training classes twice a week and by the autumn he had passed his bronze award. He is now much more calm and relaxed and even allows the cat to boss him about! Spot still loves playing with tennis balls, but usually down on the beach
He loves the frequent long walks on the beach or in the countryside and is always keen to have a swim. He's great with people and other dogs too. Spot now loves his holidays in the motorhome as every new place brings a new adventure. Sometimes when he's had a busy day he even gets tired......sometimes.... Than you for letting us a adopt such a lovely rewarding and handsome dog. Every home should have a Spot!! Keep up the good work, Suzanne, Jane & Spot x
Just an update to say Bruno is very happy at his new home. He likes to go the beach but his favourite thing to do is eat, especially treats like bacon or cheese! He is a lovely, friendly dog and has settled in well. Thank you all at Llys Nini for our Brewdog!!
Hello We adopted Bambi in January ( now called Margot). She joined our family of four children, two older labs and two cats. Initially she was quite disorientated but she has one developed into the nicest, gentlest dog you could wish for. At first she wasn't keen on water but now she loves playing with our other dogs on the beach and diving into the waves to find her ball. She has plenty of walks every day and she has even been camping with us - she behaved perfectly and lives the attention she gets from passers by. A truly gorgeous dog- quite laid back at times and in her weekly dog training class she behaves ( most of the tine) perfectly. She is a wonderful addition to our family and we think she loves her new home - the photos prove that I think! Thank you Llys Nini Regards Gail & Family In dog training class...
